Coordinates all financial and day-to-day activities of REALISE. It ensures that partners work together effectively and monitors the projects’ progress, resources and activities. WP1 is also responsible for meeting contractual requirements and ensuring the project adheres to the highest ethical, legal, integrity and quality assurance standards.
Ensures effective communication (within the project) and dissemination of outcomes (beyond the project). It builds communities and networks for co-creation and communication with all key stakeholders in research assessment reform.
Gathers and synthesises current evidence and knowledge on research assessment reform through development of a Systematic Online Living Evidence Summary (SOLES), a qualitative stakeholder study identifying and prioritising gaps in knowledge and (1-2) additional, targeted systematic reviews.
Conducts a series of four groundbreaking studies on the efficacy and impact of different types of research assessment tools and methods, including tools and methods used in the assessment of research organisations, research projects, and individual researchers.
Develops a practical, multi-level framework to help institutions and national systems understand and respond to the conditions that shape their capacity to engage with research assessment reforms aligned with CoARA principles.
Distils the evidence and key lessons accumulated throughout the project into approachable, pragmatic syntheses and formulates recommendations targeted to specific stakeholder communities.
